Rewrite references[edit]

I have literally just re-written the article over the period of a few days. My references for the chart positions section and the certifications section are from the original article and some incorrect, is there any references for a worldwide chart site relating to Circus. Thanks.FeuDeJoie

"Impact" section[edit]

I believe that an "Impact" section should be added to this article for a various reasons. The most important one is the fact that this is the comeback of Britney Spears, at one point that her personal life and career were seriously damaged by her past year actions and public didn't believe she was able to comeback. The album was marked her first tour since The Onyx Hotel Tour in 2004 and was preceded by a lot of antecipation. Beyond that, the album received also gave Spears her sixth 1# album, her second 1# song on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Womanizer", that today is one of Spears biggest hits, together with Circus. I know that it ain't too much to build a "Legacy" section like with Blackout, but Circus has too much impact in both pop music and Spears career, so i think it should be included.

Unusual You[edit]

So according to Portugese Wikipedia this is the single, even recently it was added to infobox here, so how is it? Is it a single or not? infsai (dyskusja) 12:27, 11 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unusual You Article[edit]

The deletion of the article for the song Unusual You was unwarranted. The song charted and therefore is noteworthy; the search term now redirects here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pyrotechniks (talkcontribs) 03:45, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Pyrotechniks: The deletion discussion was quite unanimous. Charting in itself is not reason for notability, and even if it was, the charting in this case is #80 on the Pop 100, a very low charting. It has been almost a year, so you can look at the article before it was redirected and if you think you can dig up more sources which will show notability you can try to resurrect the article. --Muhandes (talk) 08:33, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Should Unusual You be counted as a single from Circus?[edit]

Britney Spears discography and the chronology on Radar (song) and 3 (Britney Spears song) list Unusual You as a single, yet Radar has been consistently referred to as the fourth and final single from Circus on Wikipedia, including on the album infobox. The discography page notes that it was only released as a single in certain countries, but so was Dance in the Dark by Lady Gaga, a France-only single without much promotion consistently listed as the fourth single off of The Fame Monster. Another example is Automatic by Nicki Minaj from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, once again a single only in France. Is this an exception? 84.69.1.151 (talk) 12:34, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
