Gee, I really should start proofreading material before I submit. OneGyT 22:37, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Took out the stub thingy, what else is there to say?

omg ur a conservative, intelligent design is freaking criminal —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.215.193.42 (talkcontribs) 23:43, March 11, 2006 (UTC)

I'm not going to argue about politics here. But anyway, aren't there longer articles that still have the stub template on them? OneGyT/T|C 02:33, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I beleive everything that can be said about Cip has been said here, lets not abuse stubs
Fair enough then. OneGyT/T|C 22:03, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed some vandalism. Maybe a lock if this continues? I'm also going to remove the "Fansites" from this article, because it is based on CipSoft, and the "FanSites" are for their game... --Haktivex 14:00, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated Vandalism[edit]

Wikipedia is a repository for information. Regardless of the tendency of a page to get vandalized, the page should represent an accurate description of the intended topic. As such many of the reverts that have been preformed border on vandalism. Instead of completely removing all content from a page, users should try to edit only the parts of the page that require it. Because of this I am reverting this page in order to preserve past contributions.Darkwraith 14:50, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for restoring a more informative version. due to the lack of time i couldn't do this myself but didn't want to let the completely useless article the way it was, so i just removed everything but 1 sentence to get rid of the rants at least. Lodan 16:05, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Putting in fluffy filler words to describe people could be considered vandalism as well - don't put people on a pedastal, that is not information, it's opinion. This isn't a bedtime story, it's a database. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.142.71.132 (talk) 18:57, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Messed up article[edit]

The whole article is currently useless. The little information that is given is unstructured and partly wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lodan (talkcontribs) 11:31, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page could do with updating and improving[edit]

I just made my first wikipedia account with the intention of improving this article. Especially with area's such as the current employee number, but it seems I have dived into the deep end of the pool and I am scared I will do something incorrectly. The updated information can be found on the cipsoft website which already has a link in the page. I shall try my best to learn how to work with wikipedia as I go. Beware[edit]

I don't know where to go about posting this, so I figured I'd just put it here. You can do whatever you want with it.

Beware of CipSoft/Tibia. Someone using their server (I'm not pointing any fingers, but either they've been hacked themselves or they're hacking others) attempted to brute force my web server's WHM root password. Here's the warning cPHulk sent me:

5 failed login attempts to account root (system) -- Large number of attempts from this IP: 88.208.193.124
Reverse DNS: server88-208-193-124.live-servers.net
Origin Country: United Kingdom (GB)

That IP pulls up a Tibia server.

--Abcorn 20:39, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

CipSoft doesn't even operate servers in the UK. The official Tibia servers reside in the US and Germany. The server you found is either not a Tibia server at all or it's an clone, not an official one. If you need references, check their featured article from September the 5th where CipSoft gives a few details on their data centers. --RahabX (talk) 09:33, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
