McDowell NOT a National Historic Landmark

I removed the apparently erroneous, unsourced statement regarding the McDowell Building:

It is now a registered National Historical Landmark.

alumni list

the alumni list is formatted oddly and seems messy. also it doesn't have links and a lot of the people don't seem notable imho. --Doinelita 19:30, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

Athletics program move to Division II

Does anyone have a date and source for Chowan's move to Division II athletics? The best I have been able to find is a source stating it happened before the 2006-7 academic year (Roach, Erin. (Jul 26, 2006) "Presidents leave at 2 Baptist colleges". Baptist Press.) but have been unable to find an exact date. --Allen3 ^talk 22:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Beer Pong Champion under notable alumni

I removed "Matt Gibbons Chowan College Beer Pong Champion, 2006, played with the Rappahannock Amateur Beer Pong League" from the notable alumni section as suspected vandalism. There are definitely beer pong tournaments, but I couldn't find a citation including this individual. Wonderlag (talk) 16:53, 31 January 2017 (UTC)
