Incense Burners[edit]

Given the importance of incense in traditional Chinese culture I'm surprised it didn't get a bigger mention. Should it? The Lú (鑪) brazier is only mentioned as the third last in miscellaneous, and there are no photos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sovereygne Alexander (talkcontribs) 13:18, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion[edit]

The article is currently a list but will be gradually replaced with more extensive discussion and links to relevant articles where individual items are discussed in more detail.-Gak (talk) 03:23, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

"In the west of the Eurasian continent, bronze items were in most cases used for agriculture and warfare. In China, the greatest part of discovered and preserved bronze items was not forged to ploughs or swords but cast to sacrificial vessels"

I'm not sure about this - I know that large numbers of halberd heads have been found (ie mass produced for armies) - also the text doesn't seem to take into account which types have survived and which have not - what evidence is there for the statement?

Human figures[edit]

I'm aware of ancient chinese bronze figures that don't seem to be in the list - the sort of thing I'm talking about is a tall figure with holes in the hands - use not known - possibly a lampholder.

Also what about other bronze chinese products from antiquity eg door hinges? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.249.232.187 (talk) 18:43, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
