What value is there in listing "VARBusiness Top 100 Chief Channel Officers " and "Most influential Channel Chiefs in 2007 voted by CRN"? Agreed, I've scrapped most of the listings, and reworded the article to focus on the topic of 'Chief Channel Officer' vs. a 'List of ' such. Still needs references verifying the importance of the role. Cander0000 (talk) 19:32, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inclusion of list vs. references[edit]

Including a list of Chief Channel Officers seems inappropriate. Perhaps that could be moved to a 'List of chief channel officers', if such a concept is indeed notable. I've found a link to the VarBusiness list and included it, but not the other one. Either way, though, I'm recommending future directions on the article flesh out the concept of Chief Channel Officer and finding references for that.
