Corporate officer[edit]

What do you mean you don't think they're corporate officers? A CAO is obviously an "officer", it's clearly stated in the term. The CAO is also of a corporation. Either municipal, as you previously stated was the only case, or else private, as Garywill showed was also the case. Put them together and you have corporate officer. If you can accept that a CEO is a corporate officer, then it is undoubtedly true that a CAO is a corporate officer. Are you just throwing fact tags around for fun?

Companies that list their CAOs as corporate officers:

There's also this site about words which explains what I would have thought obvious, that the CXO group of positions are corporate officers. Honestly, why would CEOs, CFOs, COOs, etc. be corporate officers, but a CAO not? OzLawyer 12:29, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

To be fair, Oz, I think it's reasonable to ask for references - I agree that it's obvious, but if so, we ought to be able to find a reference, rather than relying on common knowledge. You're in school, right? - can you dig up a citation to Seligman or something? Thanks, TheronJ 23:26, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm still on summer vacation. OzLawyer 23:40, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hee! Fair enough, enjoy it. Yours, TheronJ 23:46, 11 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

United Nations?[edit]

Whats the matter about having the UN-Secretary General in an article about "CAO"? --S.T.E.F.A.N (talk) 16:49, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
