I've updated the sole reference (Royal Academy), which was a dead link, to point to where they now have the bio. However, this is not an independent source.
So I've tagged the article with {{BLP sources}} and {{one source}}. The following may be a valuable source, if somebody has access to it: British Classical Double-Bassists. General Books LLC. 2010. ISBN1158682832. {{cite book}}: templatestyles stripmarker in |ID= at position 1 (help) - though the lack of a named author or editor and the length of 28 pages for five double bassists makes me wonder whether it is actually a reliable source.
