Untitled[edit]

After writing the Nicolas Denys bio, I came to realize just how much 'discussion' there can be between the roles of La Tour, d'Aulnay and all them in what really happened in the New World. Websites are very suspect of content. Primary sources are also suspect, depending on the writers' points of view. I hope I fleshed out a little more about the rivalries. LTC David J. Image of Fort La Tour[edit]

The last image in the article is captioned “Port La Tour” and is found in the section about locations named after La Tour. In reality, this is an image of the excavated ruins of Fort La Tour at the Saint John Harbour. 174.113.106.224 (talk) 19:31, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestors survived in Barachois, Quebec[edit]

Charles was my ancestor and they escaped through the woods with the help of their Mqmac brothers to L’let, Quebec . My Grandfather Edgar Lawrence can trace his line back through his Mother Elizabeth Lemieux whose family came from L’let. Visit WikiTree and his ancestral line will reveal this information. 2607:FEA8:7D24:2A00:DCFC:119A:4C27:55DF (talk) 04:02, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
