Bob Dylan's children[edit]

WP:PILLARS states: All articles must strive for verifiable accuracy, citing reliable, authoritative sources, especially when the topic is controversial or is about a living person.

The statement that Bob Dylan has "eight or nine children" has no place in WP and it's not clear where this allegation comes from. Dennis makes no such statement in Sounes's biography. The statement is cited to Follow That Dream international, December 1992. Follow That Dream was a Bruce Springsteen fanzine published in Italy in the 1990s. It can't be regarded as a WP:RS for a biography of a living person. Sounes states in the BBC News cite added that Desiree Gabrielle Dennis-Dylan is Bob Dylan's sixth child. Why is it an "allegation"?--Jack Upland (talk) 08:45, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
alleged (adjective} - said, without proof, to have taken place... --Richhoncho (talk) 09:30, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's not a legitimate reason to not include the claim on Wikipedia, though. The matter of reliable sources is, though. That said, I don't see why a quote in a fanzine should be removed. natemup (talk) 23:59, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
