what is the carditis when talking about GERD[edit]

in 2000, am j surg path 24 (3): 344-354, 2000

Am J surg path 24 (3) 402 - 409, 2000

symptomatic refulxers who had no signs of histologic change in their esophogus has signs of carditis. is this carditis of the gastric cardia???
