Pollination Course[edit]

I'm working with group of students to help improve the research of Calliopsis Bees. We want to use these sources for page •JEROME G. ROZEN, JR December 31, 2008 "The Solitary Bee Calliopsis zebrata: Biological and Distributional Notes and Description of Its Larva (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae: Panurginae)" American Museum Novitates Number 3632, 12 pp •Sam Droege 2017 "Bees of Maryland: A Field Guide" [1] •P. Kirk Visscher, Richard S. Vetter, and Robert Oath November 1994 "Benthic Bees? Emergence Phenology of Calliopsis pugionis (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae) at a Seasonally Flooded Site" Animals of the Entomological Society of America — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgriffin1 (talkcontribs) 19:37, 20 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Jgriffin1: I would highly recommend also using Michener's 2007 "The Bees of the World" as a source. Charles Michener is considered a definitive source on bees, and I would take a look at what he's said about Calliopsis there (it's already cited on the page). As for your other references, I've put them into Wikipedia format below so you can copy and paste them into your article (in the future use the asterisk '*' instead of a bullet '•" to get the list to format properly). You can easily cite articles in text by hitting the "Cite" button above the article window and selecting the appropriate type from the "Templates" drop down menu. A popup window will come up and allow you to enter the relevant information (or you can copy and paste the DOI for journals and hit the magnifying glass icon, and the information will be filled out automatically)

Feel free to ask me any questions here or on my talk page. Good luck with your course assignment, and welcome to Wikipedia! M. A. Broussard (talk) 23:46, 21 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

One small to-do is making the species names link to (mostly not created) wikipedia pages. Students also stopped somewhere in the midst of moving content out of "miscellaneous facts" to distinct, informatively titled sections. Muniche (talk) 22:22, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
