Current Cabinet[edit]

The current cabinet does not consist of some of the ministers currently listed. I think it's enough to note the changes in the cabinet below the current list. It's confusing to continue to include former members of the cabinet (who are dead) under the heading of "current cabinet". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.238.1.131 (talk) 01:52, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The point is to take a long-term view. When the Telavi government eventually ends, we'll want to have indicated the Telavi Cabinet such as it was when he took office, and then (separately) such as it was when he lost power. We need to preserve the list of the initial Cabinet. I think it's sufficiently clear, since we indicate within the list who has died, and we indicate the changes. Of course, we could have a second list to indicate the current Cabinet, if you like... Aridd (talk) 20:36, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I just thought it was a little odd. Articles on other country's cabinets which lists the current cabinet, list the currently serving ministers or secretaries. But I understand your point and since this list is a listing of different cabinets, similar to a list of individuals, it the current style seems appropriate.

Pre-Ielemia Cabinets[edit]

Does anyone have any information relating to cabinets of prime ministers who served before Apisai Ielemia? Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.238.1.131 (talk) 01:56, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, some. We have this information on the Talake Cabinet which ended in 2002. And this on who was in Cabinet when going into the 1998 elections. More information may be founded by browsing here. Aridd (talk) 20:44, 29 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
