MOS:LINKONCE[edit]

Proposal to ignore MOS:LINKONCE. As per the style guide, "Other mentions may be linked if helpful, such as in ... tables" and "Duplicate linking ... is permissible if it significantly aids the reader ... and [the section] is expected to be parsed for particular bits of data, not read from top to bottom." This table list is not meant to be read word-for-word, top-to-bottom, but instead to be used as a look up table. If you are looking at the 2018-19 entry, for example, and want quick access to the Rimouski Oceanic page, it is not helpful to have to scroll up and down looking for the first entry of that team. @Flibirigit –uncleben85 (talk) 17:47, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
