predecessor[edit]

Should we add that Independent Moving Pictures (IMP) is the predecessor to CBC? I know that Independent Moving Pictures was founded by Carl Laemmle who left to form Universal Studios in 1912 three years after the former was founded but next year, the Cohn Brothers consequently headed the studio. In 1918, they along w/ another Independent Moving Pictures employee left that business to form CBC. --Evope (talk) 16:15, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cohn-Brandt-Cohn (CBC) Film Sales CorporationCBC Film Sales Corporation – Avoid unnecessary repeition in title. Would also be fine with Cohn-Brandt-Cohn Film Sales Corporation, but we don't need both in one title. * Pppery * it has begun... 22:41, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
