Preston Sturges template?[edit]

Why is the Preston Sturges template included on this page? Byron Foulger worked in a few Sturges films, but that does not justify including the whole Sturges template.--Edgewise (talk) 21:28, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I put it on. I admit I thought two or three times about doing it, and planned to do it only for those actors who constituted Sturges' unofficial "stock company" of actors, which included Foulger, who appeared in 6 of the 11 American films Sturges directed. That's significant from the point of view of Sturges but not so much from the point of view of Foulger, who appeared in many, many other films.
