Collection of links[edit]

I think this article is well on the way to becoming more a collection of lists of links to companies rather than anything that should be in a enyclopaedia. I'd like to point out WP:LINKSTOAVOID. Most of the lists could possibly be put into categories or into separate pages called 'List of...' if they are notable. That way the original article could be left to say a bit more about what it is actually about. I had been thinking of removing most of a section of Floor and redirecting to here instead for underfloor services but it doesn't look like that would be good idea at the moment. I think this would be the right place if it was better. Dmcq (talk) 12:15, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. It's been more than a year since you've pointed this out, and the problem continues. If no one addresses this soon, I might trim down this article considerably per WP:NOTDIR. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 13:26, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
All right, well I went ahead and trimmed things down a bit. P. D. Cook Talk to me! 14:20, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

irrlevant/country specific info[edit]

guys, if people are going to list things like 'number of companies' or 'number of employees', first of all it needs to be relevant, and secondly it needs context - are these figures for the uk, or the whole world. it looks like the writer is trying to justify the existence of the concept. stick to the relevant facts that are needed in an encyclopedia Inzy (talk) 00:42, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to Architectural engineering[edit]

I am proposing this merger because these two articles cover the exact same subject. The Architectural engineering article has the more general name, while the Building services engineering article has a country-specific name. Ironmatic1 (talk) 08:06, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
