Citation of historic trains in infobox[edit]

It is problematic to put the CNJ named trains template into the assigned trains section. The Blue Comet train did not go through this station. It traveled well south of here, towards Atlantic City. So, perhaps the named trains such as the Crusader should be put into the infobox section.Dogru144 (talk) 23:33, 18 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

B&O[edit]

@Cards84664: As I understand it B&O trains such as the Royal Blue used the Reading's New York Branch and the CNJ Main Line to reach Jersey City (after 1884 anyway). Both are accounted for here already. I'm not sure how best to indicate that concurrency, if at all. Mackensen (talk) 03:53, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I am aware of that, I was connecting the templates because B&O did not stop at every station on those lines. I used various timetables to fill in the missing B&O templates all the way to Pennsylvania Station (1910–1963). I got the listing of local B&O stops from table 12. here. (Same table also shows that B&O's local trains used Reading's City Branch & Reading Terminal in the 40s, so that's listed now as well.) Cards84664 (talk) 04:02, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okay. City Branch has been on my to-do list for a while now. B&O's access to New York is probably worth a short article or section somewhere in its own right. The story is told in at least two places: Royal Blue (train)#1880s–1918 and Baltimore and Ohio Railroad#New lines in Maryland. Mackensen (talk) 05:25, 3 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
