Station building[edit]

The picture that has been taken, there's a building with a red door in the background, could this have been a station building? It's certainly an oldish building and is close enough to the trackbed. Douglasnicol 23:52, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah the same thought crossed my mind, it's very possible. There's a photo at the RCAHMS site, taken on 1962 (and funnily enough from near enough the exact spot I took my picture), but unfortunately the area where that building is is covered with steam! It's very possible that it's the ticket office or station masters house, since that was the days that stations were manned and weren't glorified bus shelters. I can't be the only one disgusted at the state of our railway network, but that's a discussion for another time. Douglasnicol 15:17, 9 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
