Gatherings[edit]

Added a little information on local bioregional gatherings. Needs to be filled out with further gatherings that are going on. SashaGolden (talk) 22:40, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am doing some work on this article in consultation with David Haenke, one of the founders of bioregionalism. I'll be doing it as we have time to discuss and place changes. So far, only minor edits made. SashaGolden (talk) 16:14, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've done a little expansion work on this article, mainly as a possible home for some bits and pieces from the bioregional democracy article, which is currently a mess. I put in what seem to be a couple of the major books on the topic, and a couple of useful reference links. Anyone who is actually conversant with bioregionalism, please feel free to expand to include how bioregionalists differentiate themselves from generic grassroots enviromentalists (or whatever), an example of what a bioregionalist might consider a well-documented bioregion, etc. - David Oberst 22:33, 14 June 2006 (UTC) I added a few known bioregions as defined by the bioregional congress--Gurdjieff 17:17, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

The "In politics" section is in need of referencing and editing for NPOV. -- The Anome (talk) 08:54, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lead Paragraph as Quote[edit]

The lead paragraph of this article uses the Don Alexander work as a reference, but it appears that this paragraph is simply lifted word-for-word from the Alexander work (see [1], 5th paragraph down). It's a lovely introduction, and I don't mind reformatting it to be a quote, but is it really OK to use a quote as the lead paragraph? --AnnaFrance (talk) 05:10, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
