Civil war in Serbia[edit]

"The film was shot in and around Belgrade in 1989, when civil war was raging in Serbia."

There was never a civil war in Serbia. What the author probably had in mind is the series of wars fought during the breakup of the SFRY (of which Serbia was a member state at the time). These wars are usually regarded as one big civil war. But these conflicts started in 1991 (and there was no fighting on the Serbian territory until 1999 and the NATO intervention in Kosovo, a completely unrelated conflict), so this info is definitely false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.149.69.242 (talk) 15:55, 22 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
