All but vanish?[edit]

Where did you get that bit of information? I'm no expert, but from reading the decriptions of each form of gymnastics, it seems that elements of each have been incorporated in modern forms of gymnastics such as rythmic, artistic, acrobatic, etc. The name may have changed/disappeared, but certain elements "live on".

What was the conclusion of the "Battle of the Systems," i.e., which system won out and also which do they teach today?
