Though a little longer than most stubs, there's just really not much here. A picture could add to this a bit, though text expansion would be wonderful, if there is anything more that can be said. LordAmeth 13:08, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Calling it the first recorded battle seems rather dubious. There is no actual evidence a battle took place, save the account in the annals which also says the population was less than 1,000 at the time. --Irishpunktom\talk 16:08, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I completly agree. If you do even a little amount of research on the battle you will see it commonly refered to as a mythical battle. This is an ecyclopedia, it should not confuse myth and reality. It would be like saying that the battle between the Olympian gods and the Titans is the first recorded battle in Greek history. Davelapo555 05:28, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
More than five years after this objection was raised, I've now rewritten the artice. --Nicknack009 (talk) 08:21, 9 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
