Dubious and unsourced content[edit]

I agree with the IP editor's old comment. For example, the source for the "nose-and-lips-cutting" was dated as 1990, but if one looks a little more closely, the book says "First published 1877". British Raj-era historiography generally is not considered particularly reliable. The content disputing the nose-cutting is completely unreferenced. I have rewritten that, with a 2005 Cambridge University Press book as the source. I removed some other unsourced and unreliably sourced content while I was at it.
