Emigration to the U.S.[edit]

I've just heard that Roy came to the U.S. in 1964, not 1968, and that he came to pursue a degree in statistics. Is this correct? If so, which university did he attend? Badagnani 22:30, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Year of birth[edit]

An editor holding themselves out as Roy's child attempted to change the year of birth from 1939 to 1945. In discussing the situation at their talk page, they mentioned coverage in NPR, so I did a Google search.

There are conflicting sources. Scroll.in and The Guardian support the 1945 year of birth, while NPR lists a 1939 of birth. At this point, I've noted the discrepancy and listed both, since reliable sources aren't agreeing on it. —C.Fred (talk) 04:08, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the 1945 birth date (which is the correct one) not mentioned in the current version of the article?? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 08:32, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
