Grossly out of date[edit]

Since 2007, M30 is underground for most of its length. This was a pharaonic project for the 2003-2007 term from Mayor Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón. Anyone wishing to help updating the article and contribute photos of the new interior? Habbit (talk) 13:42, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Correction: underground for most of its length along the river. Also, Torrespaña (231m) is no longer the highest building; all of the CTBA towers are higher (236-250m). Again, anyone willing to contribute? Habbit (talk) 00:01, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

really?[edit]

hi, i'm from Madrid, and I don't see it that out of date. Your corrections are allright, only the south portion near the river is underground. Besides, they've built the "south bypass" to free the always jammed south portion of the highway, so you can save some time when northbound and skip the most conflictive southern junctions. (talk)

Interested in details about construction/upgrade[edit]

I miss more information about the recent construction of the southern loop tunnel under the city. It seems to be reminiscent of the also recent construction of a tunnel under a large city (I believe it was Paris, but I can't find the information. It's on en.WP though), and somewhat to Bostons "Big Dig". The M30 is referenced in the considerations for a tunnel on the eastern side of Copenhagen (underground and through a tunnel in the harbour channel), which is what brought me here. A quick look at the Spanish page seems to reveal that much more information is available right there. Katana (talk) 04:09, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
