POV-pushing by the Encyclopedia Britannica[edit]

Should unstubstantiated POV-pushing like this (even if it is copied from the Encyclopedia Britannica) be allowed?

"His works show little imagination"
"he had little understanding for the drama of the romantic writers"
"his characters were [...] too much given the utterance of commonplace sentimentality."

I think not, and would like to see such material removed.
