Pronunciation?[edit]

How do you pronounce Au Bon Pain? It's French and I don't speak a word of it so can't really help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tbhimdi (talkcontribs)

"Oh"-"bohn" (like John)-"pan" is the closest way to pronounce it in English. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 17:50, 29 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It'd be great if someone could post an audio recording of the name. 67.243.7.240 (talk) 19:28, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Flagship Store[edit]

I'm surprised this doesn't mention their most famous store, which on their uniforms they designate as their flagship store, the one in Harvard Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts. It's located in the Harvard University–owned Holyoke Plaza. In front of the building of which they occupy the ground-level, there is an open plaza, most of which is taken up by tables and chairs. Their agreement with Harvard gives them the advantage of being located next to it, but they must keep it clean and anyone can bring food and drink from anywhere else there. It is a large and popular hang out for chess players, backgammon players, and other people.

You should also mention their special method of brewing coffee that makes even the best single-origin gourmet beans taste as bad as Starbucks. Bostoner (talk) 03:40, 8 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

History section makes no sense. Name also mistranslated.[edit]

Au Bon pain means nothing in French. It's more like a sentence fragment.

Also, this history section is impossible to understand. I see tons of edits to it but no discussion for those, so it's impossible to know what to undo. Page needs a good edit!

Can I also say here that I have suffered many times with abo as my only lunch option and been very sorry every time? They keep changing up their, uh, raisin d'être. :-/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.26.179 (talk) 09:20, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Additionall, it now stars with two sentences in first-perso, not preseted as quotes: "Within a few months investors Louis Kane and Arthur Blasberg, who were impressed by the shop in Fanieul Hall, approached us with an offer of financing to expand operations. We thanked Kane and Blasberg but turned down their generous offer." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.1.1.1 (talk) 05:03, 12 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
