FMS[edit]

User Ae-a wrote: (The FMS was an implementation of a File system that loaded from a floppy disk.)

Well that's true as well. However, FMS was used to describe the file handler driver that was loaded into the Atari. The term FMS was interchanged for both. Atari DOS 3.0 called the file system routines FMS. This section could use some clarification.

Here's one link describing FMS as the file handler: Inside Atari DOS --Pelladon 17:43, 13 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I don't know much about how the FMS worked. I just wanted to restore the link to the article on file systems. Ae-a 21:23, 14 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
It's not that. You're not wrong or anything, I was just commenting that the section could use some improvement. And it's because of how the term FMS was used. --Pelladon 01:31, 16 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
