Confusing sentence[edit]

Hey Gavinrcoble26,

I'm having some trouble with the sentence "Jackson did not relent his campaign of suppressing dissent until after ordering the arrests of Louaillier, Hall, a lawyer, and following the intervention of State Judge Joshua Lewis." - it's not 100% clear from the wording that Judge Lewis was arrested. Another question that comes to mind: was the name of the lawyer lost to history, or is he just not worth naming? Why was he arrested? Maybe one could rewrite this as "Jackson did not relent in his campaign of suppressing dissent until after ordering the arrests of Louaillier, Hall, a lawyer [clarification of the lawyer's role], and ultimately of State Judge Joshua Lewis, following his intervention." --Slashme (talk) 06:33, 30 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
