List of works[edit]

I removed this link:

Because it links to some other composer. I couldn't find von Habsburg-Lothringen in that database, but the site was confusing, so he may actually be hiding there somewhere. If anyone knows where he is on that site, or any other list of his works is, it would still make a valuable external link. It looks like the link came from a merged page, and I don't know how to find the history of that old page, so I cannot tell who added the link in the first place.

If any lists of works are found, in fact, they should be extrapolated into a List of Compositions by Rudolf von Habsburg-Lothringen page. This all disregarding all the other obvious work this article needs.

His departure in 1809 and subsequent return[edit]

At its current version the article does not mention Beethoven's piano sonata No. 26 among the works dedicated to Archduke Rudolf. This piece is especially important in that list, as it is related to a significant event in Archduke Rudolf's life (which is also absent from the article in its current version), and as it also shows something about his relationship with Beethoven and the strong emotions his departure evoked in the latter. Therefore, along with adding it, I find, it would make sense to include more background information about the circumstances that compelled Archduke Rudolf to leave Vienna in 1809 (and those that enabled him later to return). I could edit the article myself, but it would be better if someone more knowledgeable about the matter than me could do it, as all I know is the fact that it had to do with Napoleon's attack on Vienna, and I think more details are desirable. 2A02:8109:9340:136C:6970:9958:1A03:9B46 (talk) 23:52, 1 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
