Not all anti-clericals are irreligious

As said in the subject headline, not all anti-clericals are irreligious. The Protestant Reformation involved anti-clericalist attitudes towards the Catholic Church while upholding religious values. There have been adamantly pro-religious political movements that have also officially been anti-clerical. Originally the fascist Falange under Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera was anti-clerical in that it did not support the Catholic Church having strong authority that would allow it to compete for authority with the Spanish state, but the Falange under Rivera and after was always adamantly pro-religious.--R-41 (talk) 07:40, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
