Notability[edit]

Stolz published at least three major books, two of which were translated into two further languages. There is an extensive literature on him from the next generation of theologians, therefore his relevance is international and stretches across 80 or 90 years at this point. He is credited with establishing a new style of theology in the middle of the 20th century.
