One L or Two?[edit]

Can anyone explain why or how some renderings are "Arundel" and other "Arundell"? Here father's page says the county results from a misspelling, but her image's title also uses "Arundel" and the family is from Arundel Castle. Courtesy Title[edit]

Pretty sure she was just plain “Anne Arundell” before her marriage. Does anyone know when children of peers started using courtesy titles such as “Hon” in the UK? Lady Meg (talk) 02:41, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
