Happy to review this one...

  • Any reason why there is a reference in the lead? If it is to clarify his birth/death date, I would move to the infobox.
  • "An investigation is to be headed by the United States Coast Guard, and will also involve San Francisco police and the America's Cup management", Given this is predominantly written in the past, perhaps rewrite this as "An investigation into his death was warranted by the...".
  • "A British sailor died in 1935, and Spanish sailor Martin Wizner died in 1999, after being struck on the head by a piece of equipment that became detached", do we know how the British sailor was killed?
  • 2009 New Year Honours could be wikilinked.
  • Location needed for The Independent, The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian refs.
  • Refs of BBC News and BBC Sport need publisher (BBC).
  • Ref 18 should be The New York Times
  • Publish date needed for Ref 24.
  • Ref 23 should be The Daily Telegraph. Ref 12 should be merged with it.

No dead or dab links. On hold for a week. Lemonade51 (talk) 13:22, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lemonade51, thanks for the review. I believe I've addressed your concerns and added a little more from recent events, although it's worth bearing in mind that this is an article about Simpson, not the 2013 America's Cup so I didn't go too crazy. Let me know what you think. Cheers. The Rambling Man (talk) 16:41, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The additions are fine -- it doesn't go off on a tangent, which is the main thing. Made minor tweaks with some references. Will pass now, nice job. :) Lemonade51 (talk) 17:02, 27 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
