The linked source doesn't mention it (I searched with ctrl+F for суд and ску). What's to be done then? And if there is a proof, the sculpture should be mentioned on Serafim Sudbinin.--Adûnâi (talk) 19:54, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Mea culpa. This bit comes apparently from here. (В 1914 году известному скульптору С.Н. Судьбинину родные Вяльцевой заказали мраморное надгробие. Через некоторое время сообщили, что памятник готов, но, так как он был изготовлен в Париже, может быть привезен в Россию только после окончания войны. Впоследствии след этой скульптуры затерялся во Франции, где Судьбинин оказался в эмиграции.)
But! There are two mentions of this (either failed, or mythical) project in Chapter 7 of this book on Vyaltseva, and and they do not corroborrate this. First her brother complains about Sudbinine having asked for too high a fee (...С предложением принять на себя постановку памятника мы обращались к скульптору Судьбинину. Но он до сих пор... не предоставил эскизов. Кроме того, за работу этот скульптор запросил дорого – десять тысяч рублей.) Then "another source maintains that by this time Sudbinin has been already finishing his sculpure" (...По другим источникам, свою работу над скульптурой А. Д. Вяльцевой завершал и Судьбинин...).
