Biased language[edit]

It's better to avoid words that some may consider biased or partial, such as revolution, regime, etc.--Sakiv (talk) 21:40, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I can change the references to the "Syrian revolution" and "Rojava revolution". I just saw those terms popping up a lot in the sources used, so didn't think they would be particularly controversial. What would you recommend using instead of the word "regime"? From what I know of the word, it's a relatively neutral term used to describe a form of government.--Grnrchst (talk) 21:48, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The word "regime" if used in the articles of this country specifically, which is still at war, is not neutral, and it is always recommended to avoid it. I suggest we use the "government" instead.--Sakiv (talk) 22:05, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I've changed the references to "Syrian revolution" and "Rojava revolution" to the titles used in their respective wikipedia articles, and changed references to the "regime" to "government". Is there anything else you think needs changing?--Grnrchst (talk) 09:51, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No, that's all. Thank you.--Sakiv (talk) 17:19, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No bother! Take care :) Grnrchst (talk) 10:09, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
