Error in gender

Should be listed as “transgender woman” 108.11.191.236 (talk) 06:37, 16 January 2022

Various WP:NOTFORUM-violating comments removed. NOTFORUM was being violated on both sides, to be clear. If you want to debate whether trans women are women, there are many, many, many other websites you can do so on. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 00:53, 23 January 2022 (UTC)
No one is attempting to erase her identity as a trans woman. That fact is mentioned several times in this article.
At Wikipedia, we use the chosen gender identity pronouns (which are not the same thing as biological sex or sexual identity), and in this case Amy identifies as she/her who lives in a lesbian relationship. At Wikipedia, we do not follow the widely-varying rules, laws, or practices from various countries. We do it our own way, so respect the terminology we use.
We also don't care about people's opinions about transexual people. Such comments will be removed as violations of WP:NOTFORUM. -- Valjean (talk) 19:23, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
I'm not suggesting biological sex in any way. Gender identity and gender expression are tied to identity. In the case of Amy Schneider, she identifies as a transgender woman, and, again, the page should reflect that instead of editors erasing edits that say that.
