I am not sure the subject meets either WP:NPROF or WP:NSPORTS. Felix QW (talk) 07:40, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Chair of a university department seems to meet GNG. MurielMary (talk) 09:15, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
According to WP:NPROF 6c), department chair does not generally qualify; for GNG I couldn't find sufficient coverage. Felix QW (talk) 10:11, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
For an example of her scholarly contribution, you could read the 2007 award citation at https://connect.informs.org/aps/apsawards/bestpub-past Student.chris (talk) 00:15, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Like being department chair, best paper awards do not meet WP:PROF. —David Eppstein (talk) 00:32, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I was referring to the content of that citation Student.chris (talk) 02:00, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Just to be clear, I do not expect any personal benefit by promoting my article's subject. I'm a math-majored student who took one of her classes (hence I declared a conflict of interest). I'm new to Wikipedia and wanted to try it out, and this person was the first thing came into my mind. My major concerns were exposing her personal information and bringing her unwanted attention (you can see my hesitation from the fact that I submitted the article, canceled my submission, and resubmitted it). If someone wish to delete the page, I wouldn't have any hard feelings. Student.chris (talk) 17:34, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
