BNB I/B/13[edit]

Should the motet Herr, nun lässest du deinen Diener in Frieden fahren (Johann Christoph Bach) be included here? BNB I/B/13. BDW link: 011049 51.9.25.3 (talk) 11:11, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dunno, is there a source that links the composition to ABA? Bach-digital doesn't seem to connect that composition to the ABA collection? --Francis Schonken (talk) 11:18, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I'm no expert, but BDW's source D-Mbs Mus. Ms. 3150 seems to link it to ABA. My original question was prompted by finding BNB I/B/13 included in Cantus Cölln's recording of the ABA (however they do include a couple of other J Chr Bach works which Peter Wollny's CD notes say are not associated with ABA). 51.9.25.3 (talk) 11:55, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
D-B Mus. ms. Bach P 4/2, Faszikel 5 (which is an older manuscript than D-Mbs Mus. Ms. 3150) mentions "ABA deest" for BNB I/B/13: yeah sure, on that basis it could be included in the table as far as I'm concerned. It was not part of Schneider's ABA publication, while not kept together with the Sing-Akademie's ABA collection (that collection was incomplete). --Francis Schonken (talk) 12:24, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I've added it now. 51.9.25.3 (talk) 12:42, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
