Brass[edit]

Weller is a noted tenor saxophonist. Saxophones are not brass instruments. Liner notes are notoriously badly written, when not downright wrong. Failing a reference to a reliable source, if the original liner notes states state "brass", it'll be necessary to add sic and/or an explanation. --Technopat (talk) 14:30, 29 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

(1)Being a noted tenor saxophonist does not preclude one from playing other instruments. (2)The album does have brass instruments on it. (3)Liner notes are considered a reliable source by WP: WikiProject Albums. Putting in claims which contradict the liner notes based on nothing more than a personal suspicion that they are wrong is WP: Original research at best. Adding "sic" would be inappropriate for the same reason; it's implying that one source is wrong with no other source to support this.--Martin IIIa (talk) 22:35, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
