Curiosity[edit]

Really??? This article - which I wrote - has MULTIPLE issues? MULTIPLE? OMG!!! And you think it MAY need to be rewritten to meet Wikipedia's standards? What are those standards exactly? Those of a first grader on narcotics? How many HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of Wikipedia articles have I read over the years which appear to be written by a MONKEY??? And an ILLITERATE monkey at that? And you think the article may need more verifications? For God's sake, I already have four references and it's a tiny article! How many more references does it need? If somebody wants to expand it, that's perfectly fine. But PLEASE don't criticize my writing capabilities. I'm certainly not an English major and I certainly can make mistakes, but please point out those specific mistakes, if you need to. I'm OK with that. But PLEASE don't tell me my article is not well-written!!! Of course, as my grandmother was fond of saying, "Consider the source!!!!!" Walter Breitzke (talk) 04:05, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article still needs revision[edit]

This article opens its body by discussing the subject's personal life beganning when he was 41. Did he receive a university education? Was he involved in some way in WWII like the vast majority of the men born at the same time as him (and a good portion of the women)? Was the Guggenheim fellowship in 1960 even his first major time abroad? What did he do for a living before his writtings that he is most notable for in the 1960s? We need much better information on this. Also it is not clear why we have the part about his wife in the lead. That article needs attention and revision.John Pack Lambert (talk) 14:21, 1 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
