SE is Societas Europaea. Ignorance about this reality isn't reputed reference[edit]

All SE (Societas Europaea) companies of the European Union (EU) are European companies according to the law of the European Union and EU-member states as well as according to international law. So, Airbus (officially Airbus SE) is an European company and nothing more or less else. NAIDEPIKIW NONA (talk) 17:25, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That is not correct. SE is an kind company incorporation common in al EU countries commerce law. The 'SE companies' are still national organizations. Airbus SE is a Dutch company and in fact, the SE in Airbus SE do not mean Societas Europae but 'Europese naamloze vennootschap' (in Dutch). Felipealvarez (talk) 19:35, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Company doesn't seem be active any longer.[edit]

Airbus Group Inc, which Airbus Group SE sold to the french subsidiary Airbus SAS in 2017, it seems that was merged, folded or disolved at some point in the past. The company acting as a holding company for most of the activities in the United States is Airbus Americas, Inc., which seems to be also a subsidiary of Airbus SAS. I don't know the relation between both or the fate of Airbus Group Inc. Virginia SCC site doesn't seem to be working for me to check registration details. The EASA Production Approval for the Mobile plant is granted to Airbus Americas, Inc. at least. Can anyone check for references and modify/move the article accordingly? Thank you.
