Query over death place[edit]

This article gives his death place as Staraya Russa, but the citation list of Olympian war casualties only names the place as Aleksino, a fairly common place name. Can someone with perhaps better grasp of Russian geography reconcile this?Cloptonson (talk) 13:01, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

it's not that hard to name: ru:Алёксино (Старорусский район), i. e.: Aleksino - near Staraya Russa (then German Hauptverbandsplatz, roughly: "main dressing station") - btw., because Urban was re-interred to a home cemetery, a family grave, he is no longer to find at Volksbund Graebersuche. --129.187.244.19 (talk) 13:44, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

East Prussian ancestry[edit]

Urban's parents moved from Allenstein, Province of East Prussia, Kingdom of Prussia, Germany to Gelsenkirchen, Province of Westphalia, Kingdom of Prussia, Germany. They were no immigrants, they were Germans who moved from one town in Germany to another town in Germany. They were Germans and had nothing to do with Poles. 79.192.130.28 (talk) 08:52, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
