Why delete?[edit]

The subject of the article died in 1942. Hardly a living person. The article needs massive expansion, and could really be defined as a stub. But it hardly deserves deletion. The subject seems notable as documenting an early naturalistic Jewish artist. That material is pretty thin on the ground anywhere. It should at least be on Wiki.
