The Obakemono Project?[edit]

So ... this is what exactly? Because it doesn't look like ... you know, actual research. Just saying, before I start deleting ... it gets a bit tiring, people, trying to see what has actual historical Japanese relevance and what got put here by some 13 year old because it once appeared in an InuYasha episode. It seems that this yokai originated in Toriyama Sekien's Gazu Hyakki Tsurezure Bukuro, which was published in 1781, and (according to the linked page) "the majority of Hyakki Tsurezure Bukuro's yōkai appear to be of Sekien's own creation..." So, not quite the equivalent of once appearing in an InuYasha episode, but... Caracal-eyes (talk) 01:40, 21 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
