Add, please, Marina Abramović 77.37.144.97 (talk) 07:57, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this Marina Abramović the one you mean? Her patronymic surname is spelled differently. Astronaut (talk) 15:13, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please add new section. These are different spellings but the same last names. (Slavic-Jewish)[edit]

"Abramović" is a Serbian-Jewish last name. It's a different spelling, but pronounciation and meaning is exactly the same as the Polish-Ashkenazi-Jewish lastname "Abramowicz", or the Russian-Jewish "Abramovich" (Abramovich was also the middle name of a Russian-Ethiopian man Ivan Gannibal). It's also similar to "Abramczyk", which is Polish-Sephardi-Jewish last name. All of those are Judaeo-Slavic last names. 78.8.234.127 (talk) 19:12, 19 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
