I originally created this page as a link to ATF (a disambiguation page) after seeing a red-link for A.T.F. (intended in that context to refer to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms). It seemed that any of the ATF meanings could be intended for A.T.F., so I redirected. It may also have been a TV series, but I'm not sure that's the primary meaning intended. (We at least need "A.T.F. can have other meanings - see ATF" at the top.) DenisMoskowitz 14:21, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If someone is looking for either "ATF" or "A.T.F." they are most likely to search on "ATF"; "A.T.F." is unlikely to arise as a search result unless the punctuated version is exactly what the person is looking for. Adding the x-ref to ATF was a good idea just in case, though. Courtland 23:29, 14 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
