2 trains via Lexington Avenue/East Side Line?[edit]

Should there be extra stations added that are served by the 2 train? After all, some trains operate via East Side Express, although it serves the stations limited rush hours in the peak direction. However, since they are not usually general orders, these extra stations should probably be added. Only stations that are served due to general orders shouldn't be added, and since 2 trains serve the East Side limited rush hours in the peak direction, the extra stations should be added. As far as I know, there is no regularly scheduled 2 service on the Lexington Avenue Line. Do you have a citable source that says otherwise? I do not think that Wikipedia articles are the right place to describe construction re-routes or GO's, except for changes that are expected to be in place for a long time. For that matter, should we really have the stations along the New Lots Line to New Lots Avenue? There's no scheduled service there. It's all right to mention it very briefly in the article itself (and as [[2 (New York City Subway service)|]] (1)), but I really don't think there should be a section on the table for it. Clark Street Tunnel Weekend Closure[edit]

Since the 2/3 will run on rerouted service every weekend (starting the week of June 17), should there be a change in the Station Listing?

Already fixed it. —LRG5784 (talk · contribs · email) 20:25, 25 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Superlative[edit]

As of summer 2022, the 2 has more stops than any other service (49). I'd add this to the page but it's locked so just putting it here for posterity. Mainstay17 (talk) 18:03, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
