Post abduction section[edit]

This section is very problematic. Why are those particular events considered to be the aftermath of the event? Did nothing else happen during those six years? There already is an article about the 2000-2006 conflict. Not to mention the lack of sources. It simply assumes a simple causal relation between this event and the others. This is a violation of WP:SYN. -- Nudve (talk) 12:29, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The point of the section is to give the reader foreknowledge of the future events stemming from this incident. It doesn't go into any details, rather, it serves as a point of inference and a linkup to future relevant articles such as the 2000-2006 Lebanon raids, as well as the 2008 Israel-Hezbollah prisoner swap. By no means should this be deleted! - As for WP:SYN, See Wikipedia:Ignore all rules --Lsdjfhkjsb (talk) 13:22, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I won't delete it, but please try and find reliable sources that link this attack to the others. Cheers -- Nudve (talk) 13:36, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
