Juventus formation?[edit]

Does anyone know what formation Juve used in this match? If Vladimir Jugovic was a left-winger, I can see an argument for a 4-4-2 with Jugovic on the left and Di Livio on the right, and Porrini and Iuliano at right- and left-back respectively. However, there also seems to be a possibility that Juve played with a back three, with Porrini and Di Livio playing as wing-backs, Jugovic and Deschamps in central midfield, and Zidane playing in the hole behind the strikers. Can anyone confirm this? – PeeJay 09:25, 18 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

4-4-2[edit]

I think the Juve played a 4-4-2 diamond with DiLivio going up the picth a lot more than Jugovic, in modern days, quite like Brazil in RSA this summer with DiLivio in the Elano role and Felipe Melo as Jugovic. Indeed, the formation for the 1998 final is wrong as they put DiLivio in the fullback position with a trio of central defenders of Toricelli, Montero and Iuliano. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lobolafcadio (talkcontribs) 13:51, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think Lars Ricken is the youngest player to score a goal in a Champions League Final, as Patrick Kluivert was only 18 when he scored the winner in the 1995 final. Can anyone confirm this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trainspot09 (talkcontribs) 22:32, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
